Poland

Ugh Szczyrk Poland... One week of  hell at an Olympic training resort. 30 min Run, breakfast, death run/stairs, lunch, bball practice, weights, dinner, and sometimes another bball practice! That was the hardest week of training I have ever been through, but I survived! My team is awesome they are all very welcoming! My head coach, Marek, is from Poland. He is really the only one who doesn't speak english so we get a long great ;)!! The others translate to the other American, Brittany Davis, and me.  As you can see one evening they took us to Krakow for a lil touring. We tried our hardest to enjoy it with out feeling our legs! We arrived back in Germany on Sunday evening thank goodness! We practice once a day now and I can finally get a little more settled.

The beginning

Hello Family and Friends, After a long 27 hrs of traveling I have reached my new home, Herne Germany. No worries thats the first thing I asked, "How do you pronounce that?" Herne (Hannah). Weird I know! I have two roommates/teammates Nici Egert, and Britta Worms. The picture below on the left is the view from my room. Today Nici showed me around downtown Herne which is the picture of me on the right. The shops and fashion are great here, Mom you were right I over packed I am going to want to buy lots here! Tomorrow morning we leave for training camp in Szczyrk, Poland!
